Vanda trained at Drama Centre and Rose Bruford.
She toured the Frank McGuinness one woman play ‘Baglady’ as part of the Irish theatre festival, throughout Ireland, to critical acclaim. The Irish Times said ‘Hers is the definitive performance against which any further attempt at the soliloquy could be measured’.
Vanda has worked in Community theatre touring the UK and East Germany, and has written and performed her own work. ’WPC Blues’ was used by the Metropolitan police as training material and, most recently, ‘An Encounter with Madame Crystal Rackitt’, a political satire about the 2008 financial crash, was performed at The Bolivar Hall by invitation of the Venezuelan Ambassador.
