Kat de Leiros is a South London native who grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, returning to England as a teenager. She graduated from the Academy of Creative Training (ACT) Brighton in July 2024, went straight into a Camden Fringe production (The History of Pigtails, a four-woman drama), and has been lucky enough to work solidly across stage, screen and voiceover ever since.
Kat always aims to take on roles that challenge and broaden her range and that have a balance of levity and tragedy. Her recent theatrical work includes playing a grotesque Rachel Reeves in Brighton’s long-running satirical comedy revue The Treason Show, a cheating wife in a Director’s Cut farce, and Lady Capulet in Romeo and Juliet. Kat also organises monthly performances for the Brighton elderly under the banner of Feed the Pigeons Community Theatre, and will be doing her first Edinburgh Fringe festival in 2025.
