Headshot of LIZZIE LISTER
CV
SHOWREEL

Lizzie trained in Musical Theatre at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. She is a soprano singer. actress and composer based in London. Most recently, she starred as Gertrude in 'Hamlet, A 70s Tragedy' at the Bush Theatre (June 2026): a predominantly female production which enjoyed a sold-out run during Refugee Week, in support of UK charity Compass Collective. Lizzie also served as Musical Director and composed an original score for this striking reimagining. This marks her second consecutive year performing in Shakespeare adaptations at the Bush Theatre: in 2025, she played Titania/Hippolyta in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'.

Since graduating, her other credits have included: Sister Maria in Immodest (Straight 8 Top 8 2025, Cannes Film Festival, BFI IMAX), the lead soprano in Musical Theatre by Candlelight: Love Duets Through The Decades at St John the Baptist Church, Zoe in new Korean-British musical Housemates at the Camden Fringe 2024, Nina in Rosalie and Juliet (ShakesQUEER) at the Etcetera Theatre, the Unheard concert at the Arts Theatre, and demos for new musical Reality Bites, where she workshopped the role of Misty. Lizzie also made her Feature Film debut in Room 7, and has worked as a recording artist for film sync, having had songs featured in Cable Girls (Netflix) and The Marked Heart (Netflix).

Most notably, Lizzie is the lyricist, book writer and co-composer of Wuthering Heights - The Musical, and played Cathy Earnshaw in the show’s recent workshop. The show is currently in development for full production. Lizzie's repertoire also extends to opera: she has performed as part of the Ensemble in both Iolanthe and Patience at the International G&S Festival at Harrogate Royal Hall. Her first professional credit was the Children’s Chorus in the 25th Anniversary of Les Misérables at the O2 Arena.

Lizzie is an emotive, versatile actress who is passionate about new writing. She loves the fusion of classical and contemporary styles, and work which explores meaningful themes and untold stories. In particular, Lizzie has a soft spot for period dramas!
