TROY CHESSMAN

Troy is a Manchester based actor/writer/puppeteer who trained at both Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and Southampton Solent. 

Troy's passion lies in Shakespeare and classical theatre. He has toured internationally and across the UK playing some iconic roles from classic literature, including Ebeneezer Scrooge (A Christmas Carol, UK tour), Mr Darcy (Pride & Prejudice),  Algernon Moncrief (The Importance of Being Earnest), Colin (The Secret Garden), Romeo (Romeo & Juliet), and Dorian Gray (The Picture of Dorian Gray).

Troy is also a writer who works closely in community-based theatre and has written Lottery Arts funded & Arts Council England funded pieces about Dementia, LGBTQA+ issues and mental health.
